By accessing or using TrueID ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TrueID. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

TrueID provides a Zimbabwe national ID validation service that allows users to:

• Validate Zimbabwe national ID numbers
• Extract district and region information from valid IDs
• Verify ID checksums for accuracy

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Validate ID numbers for unlawful purposes
• Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our validation algorithm
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Transmit viruses or malicious code

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any violation of these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TrueID and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks without prior written consent
• Reproduce our validation algorithm

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results of using the Service will meet your requirements
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUEID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrueID from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
